This four week course will introduce participants to a new understanding of listening, and how it can improve communication with your partners, friends, children, coworkers, bosses, and family members.

“Will you just listen to what I’m saying to you?!” “Don’t tell me what to do; I just want you to listen.” “I feel like we’re having the same conversation over and over.” Sound familiar? If so, you’re not alone. Research suggests that the average person listens to others at only about 25% efficiency. And yet, listening is the most important part of any effective communication. Without it, ideas get misinterpreted, feelings get hurt, and conversations become unproductive. Learning to truly listen to others can be a powerful way to impact and strengthen any relationship.
